HORIZONTAL MODE
HOW TO WEAR THE BABY CARRIER
WARNING: always put the baby carrier on before placing
your baby inside.
WARNING: when using it in horizontal mode, the fabric
hood section (O) must always be fastened to the carrier
as it guarantees safety for your baby when in this position.
Using the baby carrier in horizontal mode is ideal for ba-
bies up to 3-4 months of age
1. Connect the shoulder straps to the safety clasps (P1-P2) lo-
cated under the centre section of the baby carrier (diag. 1).
2. Use the button (H) on one of the shoulder straps to
align them correctly (diag. 2).
3. Put the baby carrier on, threading both straps over one
arm and your head (diag. 3).
4. Use the adjusters on the clasps (P1) to alter the length
of the shoulder straps (diag. 4)
5. Use the back support (J) as a shoulder strap (diag.5).
Diagram 5A shows the shoulder straps fitted in the cor-
rect position.
HOW TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR BABY
It is recommended to sit down with the baby carrier resting
in your lap, or on a table, when placing your baby inside.
6. Check that the side safety clasps D1-D2 and E1-E2 are
undone, then accommodate the baby inside so he is
facing you; check that his legs slide through the holes
properly. Make sure you always keep a firm hold of your
baby so you are not caught off-guard if he starts moving
around (diag. 6).
7. Fasten both the side E1-E2 opening safety clasps, thread-
ing them under the flap and pulling them firmly down-
wards until you hear them click into position (diag. 7).
WARNING: Always double-check that the safety clasps are
fastened properly.
8. Adjust the strap length until you find a safe and comfy
position for your baby. It is also necessary to adjust the
waist area and the leg slots so that the baby carrier is
never too wide or too tight and is suitable for your baby's
build (diag. 8).
9. Assemble the padded section by fastening the safety
clasps on each end D1-D2 ; regulate the length using
the adjusters fitted on each side of the back support
(M)(diag. 9).
WARNING: always check that there is sufficient space
around the baby's face to ensure correct air circulation.
