Operation
1. This wall controller is a single color ZigBee remote control that works with a ZigBee
gateway/coordinator, it shall join ZigBee network and bind compatible ZigBee lighting devices from
ZigBee controller or hub interface so that it can control the devices.
2. This ZigBee remote supports 1 group for binding lighting devices and enables to control single color
ZigBee lighting devices.
3. ZigBee Network Pairing – Join the remote to the ZigBee network
1) The ZigBee remote is under sleepy mode at most of the time due to ZigBee low power mesh network. Before
pairing to ZigBee network, press and hold down both I and O keys until the LED status indicator turns on green
and flashes 3 times quickly, then flashes every 2 seconds to indicate the remote is activated and searching
nearby network. Once timeout, the indicator will turn off, repeat the operation.
2) From your ZigBee Controller or hub interface, choose to add device and enter Locating/Pairing mode as
instructed by the controller.
3) Network Pairing Begins Automatically: LED indicator on the remote blinks 5 times quickly as the remote
scans for a compatible network controller to pair with.
4) After the remote is located and paired to the ZigBee network, the indicator will stop blinking and turn off, then
the remote will appear in your controller's menu.
5) The remote is now paired to the ZigBee network.
4.The remote has battery power monitor function:
1) Press and hold down both I and O keys at the top row to report battery power value to the gateway.
2) The remote will wake up every 2 hours to check battery power, and will report battery power value to the
gateway if the voltage is≤ 2.7V.
5. Binding Between the Remote and ZigBee Lighting Devices
1)Once the remote and compatible ZigBee lighting devices are paired to the same network, from your ZigBee
controller or hub interface, choose to bind devices to the remote as instructed by the controller. Then the
devices can be controlled by the remote.
2)Once the binding operation is done between the remote and ZigBee lighting devices, the remote can still
control the devices in the event of gateway/coordinator loss.
