3. Handlebar controls

3.1 Kill switch

The kill switch is located on the right side of the handlebar.
The kill switch is used to turn off the power to the controller. There are two
different positions on the kill switch, on and off.

3.2 Throttle

The throttle is located on the right side of the handlebar. It's a twist throttle that
gradually increases the power of the bike as you twist it.

3.3 Brakes

Please note that, unlike regular petrol motorcycles, both the rear and the front
brake are located on the handlebar and there is no foot brake. The rear brake
lever is located on the left side of the handlebar and the front brake lever is
located on the right side of the handlebar.
Please be cautious when first riding, take your time to learn and get used to how
the bike and braking system behaves before you ride.

4. Operating the display

4.1 Display

The Display on the stem is the bikes control panel. Here, you will be able to see
the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, Ride mode, Brake mode, Service
notifications, Warning signals, Limiters, and Error codes.

4.2 Ride Mode

The ÖSA has three different ride modes made for different types of riding.
Never ride the bike above your comfort level and always ride according to your
riding skills. We always recommend a new CAKE-rider to start on the first ride
mode to get used to the bike and the differences between an electric motor and
an internal combustion engine.
The 3 different ride modes have different attributes in terms of top speed,
acceleration, and torque to suit riders of all riding levels, from beginners to
professionals.
As the ÖSA Lite and ÖSA+ are different vehicles, the power modes vary depending
on the model.
