Preparing and Filling the Ingredients

1. Cut the ingredients into 25mm (1") cubes before placing them into the
blender bottle. If the food is very solid or dry, cut the pieces into smaller
cubes.
2. Fill the blender bottle with the ingredients.
3. Do not overfill the blender bottle. If you are preparing a large quantity
use several smaller batches.
4. If the ingredients are very dry, put some liquid into the blender bottle.
You should never try to reduce dry ingredients in the blender.

Fitting the Blender Bottle to the Base Unit

1. Screw the blade assembly to the open end of the blender bottle.
2. Turn the bottle upside down. Align the arrow to unlock position and
turn the bottle clockwise to lock. To unlock, turn the bottle anti-
clockwise. If the bottle is not properly fitted to the base, the blender will
not start.
