Adjusting the Rear Shield

No Parts Required
Procedure
Under most conditions, the best dispersion is attained when
the rear shield is closed (front discharge). When conditions
are heavy or wet, the rear shield may be opened.
To open the rear shield
(Figure

position, and tighten the bolt.

The grease fitting must be installed on the reel-motor side of
the cutting unit. Refer to
