Installing Devices in the IMB

Installing the NE Chassis

NOTE

•Make sure that the fan unit of the NE equipment is on the top of the NE equipment.

•Install the device of the 2 U height on the right of the network cabinet and the device of the 1 U height on

the right or in the middle of the network cabinet.

Slide the chassis along the guide rails into the corresponding slot until it is fully engaged, and then tighten the four

M6x12 bolts on the panel.

Installing the ETP4830-4815AF Power Device

NOTE

•When an NE device requires DC power but only the AC power module is available, use the ETP4830-

4815AF to convert the AC power to DC power.

•When installing the ETP4830-4815AF, align the external input power interface on the bottom.

Slide the AC/DC power device along the guide rails into the corresponding slot until it is fully engaged, and then

tighten the four M6 x 12 bolts on the panel.
