When used properly, diving computers are very
safe. Because they automatically read the exact
depth and duration at every point of the dive
they can potentially reduce diver error. They also
automatically time surface intervals as soon as a
diver surfaces. Again, providing more accurate
information which can benefit on repetitive dives.
Over the course of a dive vacation a computer
can safely add hours of available bottom time.
