Problem
Deep Fryer does not
operate

Troubleshooting

Cause
Control Panel/Heater
Assembly is not seated
properly.
Oil temperature too high
(not enough oil; no oil in
tank)
Too much oil in fryer
Too much food added to
fryer at one time
Food too wet
Using wrong type of oil
Too much food cooked at
same time
Frying temperature too low
Built-in Lid Filter is
saturated
Oil is deteriorated
Lid is not closed
Solution
Check that Control Panel/
Heater Assembly is seated
properly on Deep Fryer Body.
Unplug Deep Fryer and check
oil level. Add oil as necessary.
Press red "reset" button
located in the Cord Storage
area.
Do not fill above MAX fill line.
Fry smaller quantities at a
time.
Pat dry with paper towels
before placing in Basket.
Use a high-quality oil such
as vegetable, canola or corn.
Cook smaller amounts of
food–especially frozen
foods.
Allow unit to pre-heat or
reheat to desired
temperatures prior to use.
Wash Lid in hot, soapy water.
Change oil as needed.
The Lid needs to be closed
securely.
