– Now attach the adapter wedge to the
bottom of the display. The adapter
wedge must be fitted so that the tip of
the wedge points backwards. First
hook the small hooks in the holes pro-
vided for them and then engage the
long locking hook in the bottom of the
display by pushing the hook inwards.
– Now fix the wall bracket to the desired
location on the wall, with the broader
part of the wall bracket facing down-
wards.
– Guide the connecting cable through the
opening at the bottom of the adapter
wedge and now hang the display part in
the wall bracket from above.
– The display part can be removed at any
time if required by taking it off the wall
bracket in an upward direction.

Power supply

The scale is powered by a mains unit or by batteries.
The LC display has a low power consumption – 16,000 weighing operations can be per-
formed with one set of batteries.
– Carefully turn over the scale so that the
base of the scale is accessible.
– Push the battery compartment closure
towards "Battery" and open the cover.
– Connect the cable to the holder and
batteries.
– Place the holder in the battery compart-
ment.
– Close the cover and then turn the scale
back up the right way.
Note: the scale is prepared for use with a seca mains unit which is available as
an accessory.
