Password Change

The Password Change sub-menu allows you to change the password. The new password can be 15
characters or less. System must be rebooted after entering the new password to be valid.

The Software Upgrade sub-menu allows you to perform software upgrade via RS-232 console port. Have
your new software file ready before selecting this function. Enter "Y" to continue, or press "Esc" to go
back to the main menu.

Instructions are displayed as shown below. Follow these instructions to set up your terminal emulation
software and download the latest software to the DSL LAN Extender device. The unit waits about 3
minutes to give you enough time to set the file transfer protocol and select the download file. The
displayed "cc.........." indicates the time remaining.
