REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Rear Wheel/Hub Motor Replacement
Tools Required: Phillips Screwdriver, 10 mm Wrench, Two (2) 8 mm Wrenches, and 17 mm Wrench

Locate and disconnect motor
from controller.

Using two (2) 8 mm wrenches,
loosen and remove the bolt and lock
nut from the cable guide bracket.

Thread the brake cable through
the brake adjuster barrel, through
the large spring, and into the small
hole in the side of the anchor bolt.
Position the cable to the original
location (as indicated by the slight
cable kink) and tighten securely.

Using a Phillips screwdriver,
loosen and remove three (3) screws
from motor cover.

With 17 mm wrench, loosen the
nut. Remove wheel/hub motor.

Repeat the steps in reverse
to reinstall.

With a 10 mm wrench, loosen the
brake cable anchor and disconnect
the cable.

Install the cable guide bracket to
the frame and brake plate using bolt,
washers, and nut. Do not tighten.
*See the hardware sequence on
the right.
