Problem
Filter element clog-
ging.
If other problems other than those listed occur, please contact your Festool service workshop or your
local specialist dealer.
Possible causes
Extreme air humidity
Using special repair compounds,
e.g. extremely fi ne, soft fi ller that
generates large quantities of dust.
Machining materials that are not
yet dry
Using the extractor in wet and dry
mode (mixed mode)
Remedy
Clean the fi lter element regularly:
Option 1: Set the suction power control to the
maximum setting. Cover the nozzle, suction
hose or intake opening on the extractor with
the surface of your hand for 10 seconds until
the automatic cleaning cycle starts.
To clean the second fi lter half: switch off the
machine, switch on again and repeat the pro-
cedure.
Option 2: Clean the fi lter element mechanically
(extracting,).
Option 3: Check the fi lter element for damage
and clogging. Insert a new fi lter element regu-
larly.
Clean the fi lter element regularly (see above).
Replace the fi lter element regularly.
Read the technical data sheets and manufac-
turer recommendations.
Before using the extractor in wet mode, clean
the fi lter element thoroughly after completing
extraction and allow the fi lter element to dry
completely.
