5. To turn on the grass and hedge shears hold the safety switch (3) pressed
and press down the ON switch (4) on the telescope handle. Let go off the
safety switch (3) when the unit runs.
6. To turn off the grass and hedge shear, release the ON switch (4).
Please note that the ON switch of the grass and hedge shear is out of
order while the telescope tube is inserted.
7. To remove the telescope tube, first press the release button (10) and then
pull the tube out of the undercarriage.

Maintenance and Care


Remove the blades before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance work.

If necessary use only a moistened cloth to clean the grass and hedge
shear.

Do not use abrasive or aggressive chemicals as benzene or thinner, which
may dissolve plastic parts.

Always keep the ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions. If
necessary, clean the ventilation slots with a soft paint brush.

After cleaning and before each use, coat the blades with machine oil.
When changing the blades, please grease the gear. Otherwise, the ma-
chine requires no maintenance or lubrication.

Keep the charging socket clean and free.
