Grandstream HT814/HT818
The Grandstream HT814 is a four-port FXS and HT818 is an eight-port FXS Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) device
packaged in a compact chassis. These devices can be used for the following purposes:
● Fax machine on FXS port
● Local or remote phone on FXS port

Overview of the Installation Process

The HT814 and HT818 are normally pre-configured for use with our StarCloud+ telephone system. In most cases,
the installer can connect the HT814 or HT818 to the customer's network along with the appropriate analog
telephone connections.
If the provided configuration needs to be changed, it is possible to field-program the HT814 or HT818 using the
instructions covered later in this guide.

Connecting the HT814 and HT818

The rear panel of the HT814 has a power connection, four RJ11 telephone connectors, and two RJ45 network
connectors, as shown in the following picture:
