Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
 Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
 The unit is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children. Never leave
the unit unsupervised when in use. Keep it out of reach of children or persons
in need of supervision. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the unit.
 Use the unit only for processing foodstuffs. Do not overfill the mixing bowl.
 The unit is not intended for continuous professional operation. The unit is
intended to be used in closed rooms only and in similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm
houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
bed and breakfast type environments. The use in any other way is not consid-
ered as intended use.
 Place the unit on a level surface during use. Do not place the unit in a sink, on
a drip board or on any inclined surfaces.
 Only use attachments and accessory that is recommended by Westfalia.
 Always make sure the mixing accessory and the mixing bowl are properly.
Make sure that jewellery or long hair cannot come into contact with movable
parts. Never insert your hand or other utensils into the mixing bowl while the
unit is in operation. Always unplug from power mains.
 CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the safety
cut-off, this unit must not be supplied through automatic switching devices
such as timers.
 To avoid the risk of electrical shock or serious personal injury, always operate
the unit with dry hands.
 Do not use the unit outdoors or close to open flames, heaters or other hot
objects.
 Make sure the power cord is disconnected from power mains before you
intend to clean the unit or change the mixing accessory. Always pull the power
cord if the unit is not in operation or under supervision.
 Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the unit by the cord or yank it to disconnect
it from the outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull it to disconnect. Do not lead
the power cord around sharp corners or over hot surfaces.
