9. Troubleshooting
The machine does not start.
The electronic signal display fl ashes.
The restart protection is active. If the mains plug is
inserted with the machine switched on, or if the power
supply is restored following an interruption, the machine
does not start up. Switch the machine off and on again.

and specifi cations listed in these operating
instructions.
Cutting guard clip / guard for cut-off grinding
Designed for work with cutting disc and diamond
cutting discs. Once the cutting guard clip is fi tted,
the safety guard becomes a cutting guard.

11. Repairs
Repairs to electrical tools must be carried out
by qualifi ed electricians ONLY!
If the connection lead is damaged, it must be
replaced by a special connection lead.
Contact your Eisenblätter representative if you
have Eisenblätter power tools requiring repairs.

12. Warranty

The product is protected by a 1­year warranty as of the
date of purchase. Should this product be found to be de­
fective in any way, you will have a right of redress against
the vendor. None of your statutory rights and/or legal
remedies shall be in any way restricted by the following
warranty.
12.1 Warranty Conditions
The warranty period shall commence upon the date of
sale. Please keep the original receipt in a safe place, as
this document is required as proof of purchase.
Should this product develop any material or fabrication
defects within one year as of the purchase date, we shall
either repair it for you free of charge or replace it at our
discretion. This warranty service is predicated on our

receiving both the faulty device and the original receipt
within the 1­year warranty period along with a written
description of the fault and its date of occurrence.
If the defect in question is covered by our warranty then
you shall be furnished either with a repaired or repla­
cement device. The warranty period shall not restart
upon your taking receipt of said repaired or replacement
device.
12.2 Warranty Period and Statutory
Warranty Claims
The warranty period shall not be extended as a
result of our fulfi lling the warranty conditions /
providing the warranty service. The same applies
to components we may replace or repair. Any
damages or defects present at the time of sale
must be reported immediately after unpacking
the product. Any repairs required after the end
of the warranty period will incur a charge at the
going rate.
12.3 Warranty Scope
This device was manufactured in accordance with strict
quality guidelines and conscientiously checked prior to
delivery. The warranty service applies to material or fabri­
cation defects only: it explicitly does not apply to product
components subject to normal wear and tear and, which
can therefore be deemed to be consumables.
This warranty shall be void if the product is damaged,
used improperly or not properly serviced and maintained.
Proper use of the product requires and implies your strict
compliance with all instructions set out in the User Ma­
nual. It is imperative that you avoid any usage or actions,
which the User Manual advises and/or warns against. This
warranty shall be void in the event that the product
is misused or abused, used improperly, subject to force
or tampered with in any way by anyone other than our
authorised service centre.

13. Environmental Protection

The generated grinding dust may contain harmful
substances. Dispose appropriately. Observe national
regulations on environmentally compatible disposal and
on the recycling of disused machines, packaging and
accessories.
Only for EU countries: Never dispose of
power tools in your household waste! In
accordance with European Directive 2002/
96/EC relating to electrical and electronic waste
and implementation of national law, used electrical tools
must be collected separately and disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner at recycling centres.
