• Never leave the machine unattended
while it is running.
• When switching off, leave the machine
only after it comes to a complete stand-
still.
• Turn the machine off before you unplug
it.
• Always unplug the mains cord. Never
pull out the plug from the wall outlet by
holding the cable.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of
the device regularly.

10. Getting started

Using the chisel (Fig. B)
1. Clean chisel always before inserting it
and lubricate the shaft slightly.
2. Pull out the locking bolts (6) up to the
end stop, turn by 180° and release.
3. Insert chisel into the tool holder (5)
and slide it up to the end stop.
4. Pull out the locking bolts (6) once
again, turn by 180° and release.
5. Check lock on the tool.

Pull out the locking bolts (6) up to the end
stop, turn by
180° and release, and remove the chisel.
Additional handle (Fig. C)
For safety reasons, use the demolition
hammer only with the additional han-
dle!
1. The additional handle (4) provides you
safe grip while using the demolition
hammer.
2. The additional handle (4) can be rotat-
ed to any position.

3. Loosen the screw (a).
4. Turn the additional handle (4) to a con-
venient and safe working position and
tighten the screw (a) again.

Switching on: Press the operating switch

Switching off: Release the operating
switch (3).

11. Operation

m CAUTION! For your safety, the ma-
chine must be held only at the two han-
dles (2 and 4, Fig. A)!
This will avoid the danger of an electric
shock through contact of lines during
chiselling.
Always keep the chiselling tools sharp.
m NOTE:
• Work only at low pressure when chis-
elling.
• Excessive pressure loads the motor un-
necessarily.
• Sharpen the chisels in time and replace,
if necessary.
Dust/Chip Extraction
Dusts from materials such as lead-con-
taining coatings, some wood types, min-
erals and metal can be harmful to one's
health. Touching or breathing-in the dusts
can cause allergic reactions and/or lead
to respiratory infections of the user or by-
standers.
