    Scanning Utility This manual assumes that “D” is assigned to your Disc drive. Canon Scanning Utility is an application that provides scanning, file saving, image viewing, printing, and various other functions. A dedicated scanner driver is installed after you install the utility software.

How to Use the Software This section describes how to start up the Scanning Utility so that you can use the scanner. Read the Help files for the Scanning Utility for information on how to use it.
