5. Press the trigger (2d) to operate the tool. The trigger is also used to control
the rotation speed. The deeper the trigger is pressed, the faster the unit runs.
While working hold the unit firmly with your hands.
6. The unit is designed for clockwise and
counter-clockwise rotation. Use the right/left
rotation switch (2c) at the front resp. at the
back side of the unit to choose between left
and right direction of movement.
7. Push this switch to the position "F" (push
out forwards). When pressing the trigger
the unit revolves clockwise.
8. Push the switch to the position "R" (push
out backwards). The impact wrench will
rotate counter-clockwise when you press
the trigger.
9. The adjustable speed and torque control (2e) is located at the bottom side of
the tool. This control is used to setup the maximum rotational speed resp. the
maximum torque. Press this switch and turn it at the same time to the desired
stage. At the lowest stage the tool will work with a maximum torque of 200
Nm. At the highest stage the tool will work with a maximum torque of 320 Nm.
10. First disconnect the air impact wrench from the air supply when exchanging
the socket / the tool, when not using the unit, after finished working and when
applying maintenance work. Press the trigger in order to remove any
remaining air from the air impact wrench.
Tips for Using
Use the air impact wrench for screwing on and unscrewing of bolts and nuts.
The impact wrench creates a high maximum torque of up to 320 Nm by
means of pulse ("beaten") rotational movements.
When screwing on bolts and screws, first turn them on the thread by hand for
a few turns, so that inadvertent tilting is prevented.
Always start working with low revolutions. Make sure not to over tighten the
bolts and nuts!
