Dialing From Memory

The phone should be OFF.
Press the OK key to activate the
menu.
Use the
following menu item:
Press the OK again. The handset
will display:
You can directly enter the 2-digit
location number (i.e. 18), or you can
use the
keys to sequentially
scroll through the memory locations.
Once you have selected the
memory location to be dialed, press
the PHONE key to dial the number.

Deleting Speed Dial Memory

While reviewing any of the Speed Dial
Location, you can delete the current
Speed Dial Location in view. To do this,
press and hold the 0 key until the LCD
displays the following message:
To exit without deleting the current
Speed Dial Location, press the OFF
key.
To proceed with the deletion, press the
0 key again. For an example, you want
to delete location S01. You will see
keys to locate the
the following LCD message:
After the Speed Dial Location is
deleted, the VT 1421 will return to
Speed Dial Memory review mode.
You can also delete the entire contents
of the Speed Dial Memory.
Press OK to activate the menu.
Use the
following menu item:
Press OK to enter CLEAR
MEMORY mode. Use the
to locate the following menu item:
Press and hold the 0 key to clear
Caller ID memory. After 1 second,
the following message will be
displayed:
To confirm the deletion, press the
0 key again. While the memory is
being cleared, the following
message is displayed:
Press OFF to exit.
