Connect Power and Telephone Line Cords

• Install the base unit
away from electronic
equipment such
a s p e r s o n a l
computers,
television sets or
microwave ovens.
Avoid excessive
heat, cold, dust or
moisture.
• Connect the power
a n d t e l e p h o n e
line cords to the
underside of the
base as illustrated.
• P l u g t h e A C
adapter into an
electrical outlet. If
the battery has not
been previously
charged,
place the handset
in the base, and
allow it to charge
f o r 1 6 h o u r s
( o r o v e r n i g h t ) .
Connect
the telephone line
cord to the wall
jack.
