Using the gate opener on a larger and heavier gate is not permitted.  Do not allow children to play with the remote control.  Attach the warning signs well visible on the gate and inform all user of the sliding gate opener about the risk during operation.

    Preparation Before first Use Unpack all parts of the device and check them for damage in transit and completeness according to the overview on page III + IV. Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc.

Hint: The sliding gate does not need an additional lock as the sliding gate opener is self-locking when connecting to the sliding gate opener and power mains.

    Mounting Emergency Release – Manual Operation of the Sliding Gate Before mounting the nylon racks (not included in delivery), disengage the gearwheel of the sliding gate opener by using the included releasing key (4). By doing this proper function of the sliding gate opener and the correct position of the magnet limit switch can be checked.
  • Page 13 Mounting 1. Unscrew the 4 screws from the housing of the sliding gate opener and remove the cover. 2. Mount the sliding gate opener on a trial base on the mounting plate (5) by using the included screws (13) and nuts (11) as well as the washers (9 and 10).

    Position of the Magnets Position of the Magnets The motor of the sliding gate opener is equipped with a magnetic limit switch that is built-in on the electronic control board. In order to ensure proper function of the magnets and to position them correctly, the sliding gate opener must be mounted properly.

    Potentiometer Adjusting the Stall Force Due to special mounting situations it can, however, happen that the adjusted stall force from factory is not sufficient, for reversing the gate. In this case, the stall force setting has to be re-adjusted. The potentiometers A and B are necessary to adjust the stall force of the sliding gate opener.

    Hindrance Detection Checking the Hindrance Detection The sliding gate opener is equipped with a hindrance detection that guarantees the necessary safe operation, if the gate touches an obstacle while opening or closing. When touching an obstacle the hindrance detection will reverse the moving of the gate.

    Remote Control Learning the Remote Control LEARN- Button REM LED 1. For learning the remote control, press the LEARN button. The REM LED light 2. Press one button on the remote control twice within 2 seconds. The REM LED lights up for 4 seconds and indicates that the remote control has been learned successfully.
