The buttons have the same functions as the buttons similarly marked on
the VCR.
POWER button
EJECT button
DISPLAY button
CHECK button
To check the timer recording programs.
CLOCK SET button
To set the remote controller to the clock setting mode.
Number/timer program setting buttons
COUNTER RESET button
COUNTER MEMORY button
TV/VCR button
PROGRAM button
To set the unit to the timer setting mode.
Press this button again to release the timer setting mode.
CANCEL button
To cancel the timer recording program.
INPUT button
To select the source to be recorded. Press this button until the
desired source is selected: the tuner built in the VCR, LINE 1 (line
input 1) or LINE 2 (line input 2).
MODE button
To select the recording tape speed, SP or EP.
CH (channel) button
To select the channel directly, press this button after the number
buttons.
CH/CURSOR buttons (
To select a channel or to use as cursor for setting the clock and the
timer recording programs.

QTR (quick timer recording) button
To start quick timer recording and to set the recording duration.
TRACKING button
To select the auto or manual tracking control mode.
INDEX button
To operate the index search.
INTRO button
To operate the intra search.

Press the buttons simultaneously to record an index signal during
recording or in the stop mode.
