9 Cleaning and disinfection
WARNING
Intolerance!
When applying the device, there must be no disinfectant residue present on the blood pressure
•
cuff!
There are patients who have intolerances (e.g. allergies) to disinfectants or their components!
•
CAUTION
Damage during cleaning!
Do not immerse the cuff and its bladder or the blood pressure monitor in disinfectant, water or
•
other liquids!
If liquid enters the monitor, switch it off immediately and send it to the manufacturer or
•
healthcare provider for inspection!
Do not open the casing of the blood pressure monitor, otherwise any warranty shall expire!

NOTE
Always observe the manufacturer's instructions regarding the disinfection and cleaning of these
products.
