POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Normal warmth is created by automatic energy saver system
circulating warm liquid around front edge of freezer compartment to
help prevent condensation on outside of refrigerator in hot, humid
weather.
• Not unusual during periods of high humidity. Wipe surface dry.
• Too frequent or too long door openings.
• In humid weather, air carries moisture into refrigerator when doors
are opened.
• The drain in the bottom of the refrigerator may be clogged. Remove
any ice on the freezer bottom and clean the drain. See Care and
Cleaning.
• Cubes jammed in chute. Poke ice through with a wooden spoon.
• Foods with strong odors should be tightly covered.
• Check for spoiled food.
• Interior needs cleaning. See Care and Cleaning.
• Defrost water system needs cleaning.
• Keep open box of baking soda in refrigerator; replace every 3 months.
• No power at outlet.
• Light bulb needs replacing. See Care and Cleaning.
• Newly-installed filter cartridge. Run water from the dispenser for
1 minute (about a half gallon).
• Supply line or shutoff valve is clogged. Call a plumber.
