SmartStart
The SmartStart function lets you
define a period of time during which
your washing machine will start
automatically. The appliance will start
on receipt of a signal, e.g. from your
energy supplier, that indicates that the
electricity tariff is particularly
economical.
This function is active when the
setting is switched on.
SmartGrid
The time period can be defined
between 15 minutes and 24 hours.
During this period, the washing
machine waits for the signal from the
energy supplier. If no signal is sent
during the defined period, the washing
machine starts the wash programme.
4. Select programme settings
Setting the time period
If you have activated the
function in Settings,
instead of
Start in
display when you touch the  sensor
control (see "Settings – SmartGrid").
The procedure for setting this is the
same as for setting the time for delay
start.
 Use the  sensor controls to enter
the hour and confirm your entry with
the OK sensor control.
The hour will be saved and the minute
number block will be highlighted.
 Use the  sensor controls to enter
the minutes and confirm your entry
with the OK sensor control.
 Press the Start/Add laundry sensor
control to start the wash programme
with SmartStart.
The following will appear in the display:
SmartStart
SmartGrid
SmartStart in
will appear in the
OK
