Installing the external dryer system
External dryer system installation procedure
Install the external dryer system to the printer.
WARNING
‹ The location on the front of the printer and the external dryer system where the high temperature
warning sticker is affixed becomes very hot. Never touch this location. Otherwise, there is a risk of burn.

Place the external dryer system near the front
of the printer.
Notes
‹ Place the external dryer system so that its leg comes to
the right side of the printer legs.
‹ Pay attention that the cable connected to the external
dryer system does not get caught into or under the
external dryer system casters when moving the system.
‹ To move the external dryer system, hold it by the
handles shown in the figure. Touching a different part of
the external dryer system may cause a burn.
Make the magnet on the external dryer
system adhere to the metal plate of the
printer.
š The figure shows the equipment seen from above.
Note
‹ Make sure that the magnet of the external dryer system
is securely adhering to the printer when installing the
external dryer system.
