8. Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Problems
Loss of color or missing video
signal output on HDMI display.
No signal output from this
switcher while local input is in
normal working state.
Splash screen on output
devices.
Cannot control this controller
by control device (e.g. a PC)
through RS232 port.
Note: If your problem is still remaining after following the above troubleshooting
steps, please contact your local dealer or distributor for further assistance.
Potential Causes
The connecting cables may not
be connected correctly or it
may be broken.
Poor quality of the connecting
cable.
Wrong RS232 communication
parameters.
This switcher is broken.

Solutions
Check whether the cables are
connected correctly and in
working condition.
Change for another cable of
good quality.
Make sure the RS232
communication parameters are
correct.
Send it to authorized dealer for
repairing.
