Before starting

Remember to fill-up the gear oil!
You must use approx. 1 litre of 80W-90 gear oil for the gear box, and approx. 1.5 litres
for the gear casing. In both locations you should fill up the oil until it is level with the
plug.
In some instances, depending on the tractor model, the PTO shaft must be shortened
to a suitable length. Shorten both halves an equal amount, round off the sharp edges
and lubricate the slide bars. Any shortening of the PTO shaft must be done by a
professional trades-person.
Connect the 3-point hitch carefully on the rotary tiller.

Maintenance

With each 25 hour use, we recommend that you lubricate all the machine's grease
nipples, as well as the PTO shaft's. You should also check the amount of oil in both the
gear box and in the gear casing, and top-up with gear oil, if it is necessary. Remember
to place the machine on a flat surface when you check the amount of oil, and do not
overfill the gear oil. The final check should be to re-tighten all nuts and bolts.
