4. Route the communications cables through the locking cap and then the COM1 connector at the
inverter bottom.
5. Insert the RJ45 connectors into the RJ45 network
ports in the maintenance compartment of the inverter.
7. Use a torque wrench with an open end of 33 mm to tighten the locking cap to a torque of 7.5
N· m, and seal the waterproof connector.
If a waterproof connector is not properly sealed, water or foreign matter could enter the
maintenance compartment and damage the SUN2000.

Closing the Maintenance Compartment Door

1. Install the AC terminal cover.
3. Close the maintenance
compartment door. Tighten the
two screws on the maintenance
compartment door using a
security torx wrench to a torque
of 5 N· m.
6. Bind the communications cables.
2. Retrieve the support bar.
