Combo filter

12.5.1

Replacement of combo filter

DANGER – Risk of electric shock from
dangerous voltage!
Electric shocks resulting from contact with
live parts (e.g. master switch, printed cir-
cuit boards) can cause injury, heart failure
and death.

Disconnect the mains plug before open-
ing the ACS 652.
WARNING – Risk of frostbite from escap-
ing refrigerant
Refrigerant causes severe frostbite on the
skin.
¶
Check the service hoses for damage.
¶
Firmly connect the service quick-release
couplings to the service hoses.
¶
Wear safety goggles.
¶
Wear protective gloves.

After 150 kg of refrigerant have been pro-
cessed through the filter, the message
"REPLACE FILTER"
this message appears, contact customer service to
order a new filter.

It is advisable to have the combo filter changed by
customer service.
!
Make sure the old sealing rings are removed before
securing the new filter.
!
Pay attention to correct positioning of the sealing
rings when fitting a new filter.
!
Take care not to damage any hoses or electrical con-
nections when changing the filter.
!
Never re-use an old filter.
!
Observe the ACS 652 menu prompting.
1. Call up start screen.
2. Press <Recovery>.
 ACS 652 performs a self-cleaning process, then
the recovery phase.

Pressure gauge must reach 0 bar.

3. Switch off ACS 652.
4. Disconnect ACS 652 from power supply.
5. Carefully open the ACS 652 housing.
6. Carefully remove the old Combo filter.
7. Insert the new Combo filter with the new sealing
rings and ensure correct positioning of the sealing
rings.

8. Close the housing.

Reset filter

Observe the ACS 652 menu prompting.
1. Call up start screen.
2. Press <3> and <Flush> simultaneously and release.
 The message ENTER CODE 0000

and confirm with E.
3. Enter code
4. Select "CHANGE FILTER" with o u and confirm
with E.
 The current quantity (in kg) of filtered refrigerant
is displayed.
5. Press <MENU> until filtered refrigerant quantity is
reset to zero.

Filter change interval is reset.
