5-3. REC AFM Current Adjustment (VC-341 Board)

Check the recording current level of the REC AFM signal.
If it is too low, the audio S/N will be deteriorated. If too high,
color beets will be produced on self recording/playback image.

Procedure
Close the cassette compartment
without inserting cassette.
Set to the VTR recording
mode. (Note 3)
Press PAUSE button.
Change the data and set the
REC AFM signal level (A) to
the specified value.
Press PAUSE button.
Press PAUSE button.
Perform "Processing after
Completed Adjustment".
Center of the luminance line width
0.67 µsec
