Installation & Maintenance Instructions
WARNING: Fixtures must be grounded in accordance with local codes or the National Electrical Code.

Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury.
MAINTENANCE WARNING: To maintain light efficiency and prevent fixture overheating, reflector and lens must
be kept clean and free of dirt, dust, leaves, and trash. For optimum performance a regularly scheduled
maintenance program should be followed.
CAUTION: All wiring must be done by a qualified electrician. KEEP THIS SHEET FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
ATTENTION: If your fixture is equipped with a multi-tap ballast and if no voltage was specified on the purchase order,
the ballast has been wired for operation on a 277 volt circuit (347v in Canada). If other than 277 volts is required, i.e.
120v, 208v, 240v, connect incoming voltage lead to selected voltage lead on ballast. Cap off all unused voltage leads.

Base Casting / Ballast Assembly Installation:

Make certain the electrical supply is OFF before starting installation.

1. Install the base casting/ballast assembly on the pre-set anchor bolts. Use flat washers
and hex nuts both below and above the base casting.
2. Level the top edge of the casting by adjusting the bottom leveling nuts. Tighten the
upper nuts.
3. Connect the circuit ground wire to the grounding lug on the ballast bracket.
4. Connect power supply leads to the ballast input leads. See diagram below. NOTE:
For incandescent fixtures, connect the power supply leads directly to the lamp leads -
no ballast required.

Pole Body
1. To protect finish, lay fixture horizontally on soft cloth with open-
end of fixture next to installed base casting/ballast assembly.

2. Connect fixture ground lead (green) to the short green wire con-
nected to the grounding lug on the ballast bracket.
3. Connect the lamp leads to the ballast. NOTE: For incandescent
fixtures, connect the power supply leads directly to the lamp leads.
4. Place pole body over ballast assembly and slowly turn until body
drops into retaining slots, then twist clockwise to lock the pole onto
the base casting.
5. Tighten the two set screws at the bottom of the pole using a F"
