Description

Before removing the memory module, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly

Remove the memory modules:

Spread the two retention clips outward (1) until the memory module tilts up at a 45° angle.

Grasp the edge of the memory module (2), and then gently pull the module out of the slot. Use the same
procedure to remove both memory modules.

Do not touch the components on the memory module.
To protect a memory module after removal, place it in an electrostatic-safe container.
