2-1. Installation of Board and Rear Panel

To avoid shock hazard, be sure to turn the power of the
DSM-T1/M1 off and unplug the appliance from the outlet
before installing.

There is no necessity to perform the check/adjustment after
the board and the rear panel installing.
Installation position
The DIF-51 board can be installed in either "1" (IN 1) side
or "2" (IN 2) side of the DSM-T1/M1.
The installation position of the SDDI IN rear panel
depends on the DIF-51 board position.
When the DIF-51 board is installed in "1" side, install the
SDDI IN rear panel to the "1" side.
Similarly, when the DIF-51 board is installed in "2" side,
install the SDDI IN rear panel to the "2" side.

Preparations
(1) Turn the power of the DSM-T1/M1 off, then unplug
the appliance from the outlet.
(2) Remove the six screws, and remove the top panel from
the DSM-T1/M1.

1. Installation of Board
(1) Match the hole on the DIF-51 board with the ejector
pin on the ENC board of the DSM-T1/M1.
(2) Connect the connector on the DIF-51 board to the
connector on the ENC board.

Make sure that the connector is connected tightly.
