SETTING UP THE INSTRUMENT
1.
Set the instrument up using the
sample clamp/port-forward stand.
Connect the AC adapter to the
left port on the back of the
ColorFlex EZ Citrus sensor.
2.
Plug the power cord into a wall
outlet.
3.
Turn on the ColorFlex EZ Citrus
by pressing GO ( )on the button
pad.
Now your instrument is ready
for Standardization.
4.
(Optional) Using HunterLab's
EasyMatch QC software to control
ColorFlex EZ Citrus
Connect the USB cable from the rear
Mini-B plugin on the ColorFlex EZ
to a standard USB plugin on the PC.
Load EasyMatch QC with CMR-2913
on the computer and connect to the
ColorFlex EZ as a sensor.
For more detailed instruction on using the instrument, please refer to the ColorFlex EZ Citrus Manual.

STANDARDIZATION
1.
Ensure that the standard port
insert (not the orange juice tube
holder) is installed at the sample
port for standardization.
2.
Press the DOWN arrow to select
STANDARDIZE from the MAIN
MENU. Press GO to select.
3.
Place the black glass at the
port. Press GO.
4.
Place the calibrated instrument
white tile at the port. Press GO.
5.
Remove the standard port insert
from the sample port and replace
it with the orange juice tube
holder.
Now your instrument is ready
to Read Samples.

READING SAMPLES
1.
Select READ from the MAIN MENU
and then press GO.
2.
Press the UP/DOWN arrow to select
a Citrus Color setup from the list.
Press GO to continue.
3.
Pour the citrus juice into an OJ
tube and then place it in the OJ
holder with 'diamond' label
matching slot. Press GO to Read.
4.
Press GO to read and the color
measurement will be displayed.
5.
Press DOWN arrow to SAVE the
reading to memory and PRINT
the reading to a USB printer.
