Setting up
Charging
• Charge the second handset for 15-20 hours before using.
• When you charge the second handset, the display shows the name of the handset, HS2.

Dialing mode

Dialing mode is a universal setting. When the mode is changed on the original handset,
the setting for the second handset is changed as well.
CIDCW
• CIDCW setting is a universal setting. When the setting is changed on the original
handset, the CIDCW setting for the second handset is changed as well.
• CW Deluxe setting is independent from the original handset. To set the CW Deluxe
setting on the second handset, do the following.
1) When the phone is in the standby mode, press menu/mute.

Registration
For the TRU5865-2 handset No.2, you can use it with the TRU5865-2 base without
registering the handset. However, you need to register the TRU5865-2 handset No.2
