    LED Indicators Switch Description The DIS-200G Series Layer 2 Gigabit Industrial Smart Managed Switches are equipped with 8 standard or PoE- capable 10/100/1000BASE-T ports (PS/PSW models), 2 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, and 2 SFP ports. These switches feature a robust design capable of withstanding the harshest environments, making them ideal for deployment in industrial and outdoor cabinet surveillance settings.

Use the following instructions to mount the DIS-200G switch on a wall using the screw hooks on the underneath of the switch Attach the included mounting brackets to each side of the switch using the provided screws.

    Log into the switch. To do this, enter admin in the user name and password fields and click OK. Using the D-Link Network Assistant (DNA) D-Link Network Assistant (DNA) is a program that is used to discover switches which are in the same Layer 2 network segment as your PC. The simplest way, at this stage, to reboot the switch is to unplug and re-insert the power cable from and into the power receptacle on the back of the switch or terminal block on the top of the switch.

This will allow the user to simply connect to this switch for the first time by pressing the ‘Enter’ key.

    Connecting using SNMP You can manage the switch with D-Link D-View, or any other SNMP-compatible program. The SNMP function is disabled default and must be enabled on the switch first by using either the web UI, DNA, CLI, or Telnet.
