INSTALLATION AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations! You have purchased a LUMISHORE advanced LED
technology underwater lighting product. Every care has been taken
to ensure your compact EOS Lumi-Link Blackbox Module arrives in
perfect condition, so please enjoy the ultimate experience in under-
water lighting.
Please read the following pages to ensure a complete understanding
of the LUMISHORE LED lighting system before installation.

Before you Start

• Always ensure that the vessel's power source and battery are
disconnected or isolated prior to installation
• A quali ed professional should carry out both the electrical
and mechanical installation.
• The EOS lighting system should be fully installed before connect-
ing the EOS Blackbox Module
• The EOS Blackbox Module must be mounted in a dry location and
on a at (not curved) surface away from any sources of heat or vibra-
tion
• The EOS Blackbox Module works with Garmin OneHelm - check the
compatibility of your Garmin MFD prior to installing the EOS Black-
box Module. The MFD may require a software update - check with
Garmin prior to installing the Blackbox module.

EOS Blackbox Module
The EOS Blackbox Module sits between the Garmin MFD and the
lights. No additional controller is necessary as all the control is
done from the MFD. The EOS Blackbox Module needs to be
powered by an external DC power supply or battery (10.5 - 31V).
The Module connects to the lights using the "Data Out" connec-
tor. This plugs into the rst light, or to the "data in" connector on
the hub. Sound-to-Light can also be used by connecting to the
3.5mm Stereo jack.
The EOS Blackbox Module connects to the Garmin MFD using a
Garmin Marine Network Cable. ONLY USE Garmin Marine
Network Cables. DO NOT USE any other type of Ethernet cable.
The Garmin MFD must have OneHelm enabled - a software
update may be required.

Mechanical Installation

1. Select a suitable location to mount the EOS Blackbox Module.
This should be in a dry location, and within reach of the Data In
Connection of the rst light or hub. This cable can be extended
using DMX Extension cables. (1m - 24-0077, 5m - 24-0078 or 15m
- 24-0099)
2. The EOS Blackbox Module should be mounted onto a at
surface, away from any sources of heat, or vibration. Ensure you
have enough room to be able to
module.
3. Mount the EOS Blackbox module using four mounting holes at
either end of the case - Use the dimensions from the drawing
below.
