To rename i5/OS, complete the following steps:
1. Type the Change Network Attribute (CHGNETA) command on the twinaxial console command line,
where xxxxxxxx can be up to eight alphanumeric characters.
CHGNETA SYSNAME(xxxxxxxx)
2. Press Enter.
3. Restart your system. For instructions, see Starting the system or logical partition.
