Controls.&.Components
Refer to Figures.2–3 and the following descriptions to
become familiar with the basic controls and components
of this machine. Understanding these items and how they
work will help you understand the rest of the manual and
stay safe when operating this machine.
A.. Filter.Cleaning.Handle: Turns paddles inside canister
filter to knock dust cake off filter pleats, cleaning
filter and helping maintain good air flow.
B.. Control.Box: Controls motor operation with a
thermally protected magnetic switch. Houses an RF
receiver for operation via remote control.
C.. Removable.Filter.Bag: Collects fine dust from filter
area.
D.. Inlet.Adapter: Allows connection of two 4" ducts
(Model W1867) or three 4" ducts (Models W1868 &
W1869) to main dust port inlet.
E.. Collection.Drum.Lock.Handle: Secures dust
collection drum to lid when pressed down. Releases
collection drum from lid when pulled up.
F.. Collection.Drum.Inspection.Window: Allows
operator to see when collection drum needs to be
emptied.
G.. Remote.Control: Green button turns motor ON. Red
button turns motor OFF. Requires a 12V, type A27
battery.
Note: The remote operates on radio frequency and
has a 75-foot range. It does not need to be aimed at
the control box to operate.
