ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

A 120V, 60 Hz, 30-amp dedicated power supply is required.

A dedicated 30-amp branch circuit must be properly grounded
and protected by a time-delay fuse.

Wiring for the cooling unit, lights and touch screen computer is
I
routed through a single power source with a NEMA L5-30P twist-lock
plug that must mate with the NEMA L5-30R electrical receptacle.

The power cord will exit at the top of the vault. Plan to install the
electrical outlet within the guidelines shown below. It should be in an
inconspicuous location towards the left side. In a built-in situation,
the connection may be hard-wired, using conduit, by a qualified
electrician. All installations must be according to local codes.

The electrical system in the wine vault is protected by a surge
I
protector to prevent damage caused by power surges and spikes.
It is important to locate the electrical receptacle where it will be accessible. The exact
location of the receptacle must be planned depending on the installation situation.
LOW CEILING
receptacle must be installed in an accessible location, approx. 7'8"
above the floor, OUTSIDE the vault installation location (footprint).
