BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Allow one day for assembly of the vault and one day to install the wine racks.
At least four people are required to assemble the wine vault. Refer to the
Pre-Installation Checklist to be sure that all installation location conditions and
requirements have been considered and, if needed, corrected.
To ensure a smooth and timely installation, review these conditions
and requirements again.
The Installation Location

The wine vault cannot be installed outdoors or where it will be exposed to outdoor

conditions.

The wine vault can be installed in a basement or any climate controlled room. It can
I
also be installed in a garage as long as the ambient temperature is between 55°F and
85°F at all times.

The cooling unit can maintain a temperature that is 30°F maximum cooler than the
I
ambient temperature of the space where it exhausts. The desired constant temperature
inside the vault is 55°F. The recommended humidity for wine storage is 50% to 70%.
In a dry climate, the consumer may want to provide a means to add humidity.
