- Page 2 HSP UTE LIDS General Notes - Read through the fitting instructions before installation of accessory. - Always install the Hard Lid Light Wiring Kit following the workshop manual and fitting instructions provided. Failure to do so may cause damage to the vehicle or the accessory.
- Page 3 HSP UTE LIDS Step 1 Important Always refer to the vehicle’s Workshop Manual when removing vehicle components. • Disconnect the vehicle battery (1). • Disconnect the ring terminals and fuse holder from the battery power harness at the 2-way connector.
- Page 4 HSP UTE LIDS Step 4 • On the underside of the plastic cover, connect the two small female terminals (1) on the Light Wiring Harness (2) to the male terminals on the Push Button Switch (3). • Connect the 2-way connector (4) on the Light Wiring Harness (2) to the mating connector on the LED lamp (5).
- Page 5 HSP UTE LIDS Step 7 • Connect the Battery Power Harness to the battery, reconnect the battery, and test operation of the system. The light should illuminate when the switch is pressed on. Important Refit all trims and other items removed in reverse order and secure all fasteners as per Service Manual torque specifications.
