Actuators take power from the Power Unit in order to rotate a spindle that moves the table up or down. There are two main categories of Actuator in the DYNAMIC MOTION system: Drives (in which the spindle is per- manently attached to the motor) and Gear Motors (no spindle attached). DYNAMIC MOTION actuators also feature an integrated Control Unit.
4.2 POWER UNITS 4.2.1 WHAT IS A POWER UNIT? A Power Unit is a general term that covers DYNAMIC MOTION Power Hubs and all DYNAMIC MOTION- compatible external power supplies. The assembly process differs slightly depending on which type of Power Unit will be installed.
