  • Page 15 5-1 General description of boards This product is composed with the peripheral devices, mainly such as 5 control boards, LED and sensor etc. The micro controller is mounted on 5 control boards below and they work with the instruction from the control board. When the red LED on the communication board is lighted, it is in the process of the program rewriting of the control board.

It is normal if the green LED of the switching power supply lights up. 4. In case that the green LED does not light up, check if 24V is output between the pins of –V and +V of the switching power supply.

  • Page 42 6 Cleaning of Measuring Windows Clean the measuring windows according to the procedures below because it greatly affects the test results if they have fingerprints or dust etc. on. 1) Saturate K-dry cleaning material or soft cloth with the neutral detergent. 2) Clean the measuring windows in a circular motion.
  • Page 43 7 Maintenance Mode The maintenance mode includes the settings which are necessary for the maintenance such as the chart, evaluation of the hardware, correction of the adjustment data of the product and print-out. 7-1 Start-up of maintenance mode Turn the power on whole pressing the dial push key. Release the dial push key when it starts beeping and the screen on the right appears by pressing and holding the dial push key.

  • Page 53 Carefully read the followings before replacing each unit. (1) Insert the connector in the board all the way inside when replacing the board/harness. Also do not squeeze the harness at the time of assembling. (2) Apply screw lock after tightening it when screwing at where screw lock was originally applied. (3) Check the operation performance after replacing each unit.

Replace the measuring window 1 by rotating it in a counterclockwise direction. Apply adhesive as it was after replacing the measuring window 1.

Preparation ・PC ・RS-232C straight cable ・Software rewriting application (ComUpdate.exe) 2. Procedures (1) Start up the application of software rewriting (ComUpdate.exe).
