communications (async comm), binary
synchronous communications (BSC), serial I/O,
and parallel I/O adapters. Load these MDls
from the communications diagnostic cartridge if
the 5110 has an internal tape drive, otherwise
use the diagnostic diskette. If the PROCESS
CHECK light is on, the MDI cannot be loaded.
