Motion Sensor

To get the best performance out of you upgraded LifeShield Security System we do
recommend upgrading your entire system by replacing your Motion sensors BUT it is
not required. Your current motion sensors will still work with your upgraded system.
If you choose to upgrade your motion sensors please follow the steps below:
DELETING YOUR CURRENT MOTION SENSORS
On your Security Touchpad
Go to Settings
Enter your Master Code (if prompted)
Sensor you would like to delete
ADDING YOUR MOTION SENSORS
On your Security Touchpad
Go to Settings
Enter your Master Code (if prompted)
Sensors
Select [+]
Select "Motion" from the drop down
menu
Click "+ Add"
Follow the instructions on the Security
Touchpad to complete the activation
PLACING THE MOTION SENSORS
1)
Determine where to place the Motion Sensor.
Make sure the Motion Sensor has a clear line of sight and isn't
blocked by any objects (i.e. curtains or furniture).
Avoid areas that can cause false alarms (such as air
conditioning/heating units, fans, direct sunlight).
The recommended mounting height is 7-9 feet.

Adhere the tape to the back of the sensor. (Figure D.4 or D.5)

Place the Motion Sensor in the desired location.
Make sure that you do not mount the Motion Sensor upside down.
