Your Video Cassette Recorder i s a highly sophisticated instrument.
It
has been carefully checked and
adjusted at the factory under the most rigid quality control and inspection systems. However, should
problems develop, check the following points and take necessary corrective measures.

The VCR will not go in to the recording mode,
even when the " R E C Button i s pushed.
RECORDING TV PROGRAMS OFF THE AIR
The VCR will not go in to the recording mode,
even when the ("REC" light i s not on. "DEW"
indicator lamp is on.)
Press the "TV/VCRH switch to "VCR" posi-
tion.
Set the television to the same channel selected
on the RF Channel Selector Switch on
bottom rear of VCR. (Channel 3 or 4)
Remove connector from the "VIDEO IN"
jack. (if it has been connected.)

Adjust Tuning Controls on VCR and televi-
sion to obtain the best picture.
When recording off the air, remove connector
from the "AUDIO IN'' jack.
The cassette has had the erase prevention tab
removed. Stick a piece of cellophane tape
over erase prevention hole on cassette t o reuse
cassette.
Wait until "DEW" Indicator lamp goes out.

Make required adjustments on the video
camera referring to the Owners Manual
supplied with the video camera.
Adjust fine tuning knob of television t o
obtain the best picture.
Adjust camera.
Increase illumination of the subject.
