"AUDIO DUBMbing Button
Allows you t o record your own sound on a previ-
ously-recorded cassette using either a microphone
or audio system. The previously recorded sound
will be automatically erased during this process.
"TRACKING" CONTROL
Used when playing tape recorded by other Beta
system machines. Adjust this control t o minimize
black streaks across the TV picture during play-

back. Allow a second or two for the new settings
of this control to take effect. Always return this
control to its central position after use. This posi-
tion is indicated by a definite notch which can be
felt as the control is turned.
When playing back tapes recorded on this VCR,
this control should be in the center position.
"MI C" ~ a c c
Used for connecting a microphone for dubbing
sound onto a tape, or for use with a video camera.
When a microphone is inserted in this jack during
recording, the TV sound is disconnected and sound
from the microphone
is
recorded. Unplug micro-
phone when it is not being used.
